AIADMK cadres and fans of J. Jayalalithaa remembered the former leader of the AIADMK and state chief minister on her 75th birth anniversary this February 24.
Across Mylapore, we spotted a few colourfully-raised platforms holding up Jayalalithaa’s portrait, with incense sticks, coconuts and at some places, plates of sweetmeats on tables.
At the Dr Ranga Road – Warren Road junction, the local AIADMK unit leader distributed ladoos to residents of the area who stopped at the street corner platform bearing Jayalalithaa’s portrait.
