The annual dance festival that pays tribute and celebrates the dance of Bharatanatyam guru K J Sarasa is on at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore on Jan.29 and 30.
The K J Sarasa award will be given on Jan.29 evening to three artistes – Uma Anand, Nellai D Kannan and Srikanth Gopalakrishnan.
Shanmugha Sundaram and Meena Loganathan curate this festival that keeps the focus on this dance guru who ran her academy in the Mylapore zone.
