If you were moving on the Mandaveli section of R. K. Mutt Road on Wednesday evening, you may have wondered if this area had had a sudden burst of rain – for, water was flowing down the roadside.
But it was drinking water leaking profusely from a damaged Metrowater pipe.
We got to know that the leak was small and grew bigger and was caused by an internet service provider whose workers were digging deep for their work needs.
Water was seen flowing from Sadayappan Street end to MTC bus depot in Mandaveli. Metrowater workers are at work to plug this mess.
