J. Jayakanth, a long-time resident of Mylapore passed away at his home in Warren Road on November 8.
He did his schooling in Children Garden School, Mylapore and later at DAV, Gopalapuram. He did his graduation in commerce in Vivekananda College and was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and ICAI since 1987.
After a brief stint at Arthur Andersen in Muscat, Oman, Jayakanth returned to India to take care of his aged parents.
He was a financial advisor to many people. He is survived by his wife and son.
