The recently restored 180-year-old CSI St. Thomas English Church in San Thome will be celebrating its annual Thanksgiving Festival on Sunday, September 4.
This eagerly awaited church festival will begin with a Thanksgiving Service at 7.30 am. Every year, the church community gathers to thank God for His bountiful mercies and blessings throughout the year.
After the service, there will be a wide variety of stalls selling breakfast delicacies, homemade eatables, cakes and other interesting articles.
Games like lucky dip, treasure hunt, Tambola and balloon shooting are planned to keep guests entertained, with prizes for the winners. A Bible Quiz and a Biblical personality depiction contest have also been planned. Proceeds from the sale will be used for building a new parish hall and to support a rural Church.
All are invited to come and participate in the festival.
