Maithri, Chettinad Vidyashram’s biennial cultural gala, is back after the pandemic to celebrate companionship and talent shows among school students.
This year’s event, which begins on Friday, Sept. 9, spills over into Saturday, Sept. 10. Around 3000 students from more than eighty schools are expected at this cultural carnival. Thirty-six events with catchy titles such as Fiction-ary, Pixel and Dragon’s Den have been lined up for the two days.
The show is being coordinated by school cultural secretaries Kishita Daga and Gowri Jhanani, as well as the school captain, Sowmiya Narayanan, and led by teacher co-ordinators Siveshwari Basker and Jaya Rose.
