The investiture event for the new academic year was held at Chettinad Vidyashram school in R. A. Puram on July 1.
Newly elected prefects of the school’s student body were sworn in and conferred with badges by Dr. Amudha Lakshmi, the principal, in the presence of teachers and students.
The students’ prefectorial team comprised of many posts and on this occasion, the students took the pledge to uphold the school motto, ‘Strive, Save and Serve’.
Dr. Amudha Lakshmi urged the students to live up to the ideals of the leadership roles the students have undertaken to don.
School captains Mustafa Topiwala and Sowmya Narayan spoke on this occasion.
