Quiz Foundation of India to host quizzes on 3 days, August 13 onwards. In Alwarpet, Chetpet

The Quiz Foundation of India-Chennai has announced a new, ‘language-restoring, spirit-reviving’ edition of QFIesta, its annual festival of quizzing.

The schedule of quizzes, spread over August 13 -15 is as follows:

Venue: CP Arts Centre Auditorium , 1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet.

1. Remote Control: A general quiz by QFI’s NRIs: 9:30am-2pm
QMs: Vinod Ganesh, Ashwin Kumar, G Krishnamurti, Akshay Natarajan

2. Hikimayu: The Fake Highbrow Quiz (literature + arts): 3pm – 7:30pm

QMs: Dinesh Krithivasan, Vinid Sashidharan, Harish Krishna

Venue: CP Arts Centre Auditorium , 1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet.

1. Madras Talkie: The QFI Movie Quiz: 9.30am-12.30pm (Written quiz, no finals)
QM: Vinod Ganesh

Venue: Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Harrington Road, Chetpet

2. The Smartacus Senior Quiz: 2.30pm-8.30pm (Suitable for ages 18 and above)
QM: Dr. Navin Jayakumar

Venue: CP Arts Centre Auditorium , 1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet

1. A Question Of Sport, 9.30am-2pm
QMs: Ramesh Natarajan, Rohit Suresh, Varun Parthasarathy

2. The QFI Open quiz, 3pm-7.30pm

Every quiz is open to teams of up to three people. Smartacus has no registration fee. Every other quiz has a registration fee of Rs 100 per team, but the fee will be waived for school teams.
