Ramana Eye Clinic of R. A. Puram Third Main Road in association with Raja Annamalaipuram Residents’ Association ( RAPRA) and Rotary IT City Club is conducting a free eye-screening camp on July 10 for the benefit of Urbaser Workers and conservancy and health department staff of Greater Chennai Corporation.
The camp will be at Ramana Eye Clinic on Third Main Road.
A RAPRA team member says “most workers either due to ignorance or for want of time do not periodically test their eyes. Sometimes they have good vision in one eye and complications in the other eye. Some of the issues relating to the eye are irreversible if not attended to in time.”
Blood pressure and blood sugar levels would also be checked at the camp.
