With increasing spread of the Corona virus in Chennai, the Tamil Nadu government has made wearing of face masks compulsory from today.
Following this, an event was organised by the Chennai Corporation Health Department in which Chennai Corporation Ward 126 councillor Amirda Varshini ( Congress party) went around to provide free face shields to bus passengers at the Mandaveli MTC bus terminus.
Congress cadres Mylai Dharani, Gopi, Ravichandran, Ravindradass, 9th Zone Health Officer Asha Latha, Mylapore area GCC municipal health officer Lakshmanan participated in this awareness programme.
