MYLAPORE TIMES launches its Online Magazine for School Students for this season. And the newspaper invites the young ones to contribute to this magazine now.
This online section of the website ( www.mylaporetimes.com) of the newspaper will feature short stories, middles, poems, art / painting/ sketches / photos and short features written by school students.
This creative space is open only to students of Mylapore schools and school students who reside in this neighbourhood.
This is what you can write for the Mag –
– Short stories – in 200 words
– Poems – in 15 lines
– Photos – focus on local, interesting, colourful life ( 2 photos)
– Middles – humour pieces, personal experiences, life in Mylapore . . . (75 words)
– Art – drawings, illustrations, painting – with a focus on Mylapore theme ( 1 artwork with caption)
To contribute to the magazine, you need to first e-mail the editor your creative idea (in 2 lines) and get the okay to proceed – mail to – mytimesedit@gmail.com with ‘MAG’ in the subject line of the mail.
The magazine will publish well-done works over 4 weeks.
Contributions from students will close mid-July.
