In the nooks and street corners of Mylapore, hawkers now offer thirsty folks something to beat the summer. And as dawn breaks, there are hawkers who also offer what they claim is healthy food.
In recent days, there is this hawker on South Mada Street who is seen offering a ‘meal’ every morning, around 7 a.m.
The koozhu that he offers is made up of a mix of ragi, cholam and kambu ( millets). This koozhu is offered in a container placed on a banana leaf and to go with it, is some kind of chutney and pickle too.
This serving costs Rs 25.
The hawker says he prepares the koozhu at home every morning.
