The results of Kartik Rajagopal 31st Kodai Nataka Vizha 2022 of Kartik Fine Arts have been announced. The play ‘Aval Peyar Sakthi’ written and directed by Dharini Komal has bagged the Best Play award and trophy. The play also bagged ten awards including awards for Best Director, Best Actress and Best Child Artiste.
The second best play adjudged by the panel was ‘Panchavadi’ presented by PMG Mayurapriya and the same bagged awards for Best Dialogue Writer (P. Muthukumaran), Best Comedian (Ganapathy Sankar) and Best Scene Company ( Saidai Kumar & Shanmugam) as well.
The Best Comedy drama choice was ‘Mama Maple 2.0’ by Satyasai Creations, written by Ezhichur Aravindhan.
The Best Actor award went to Vignesh Chellappa for his role in ‘Thath Purushaya’, Best Actress award to Krithika, Best Character Actor to S. Shivpprasadh, Best Character Actress award to Suba Ganesan, Best Story-writer to T. V. Radhakrishnan and Best Child Artiste award to Baby Iyal.
The awards and trophies and prizes for best reviews submitted by the audience will be presented at a function on June 1 evening at Narada Gana Sabha main hall.
This will be followed by the play ‘Charukesi’ featuring Y. G. Mahendra, Suppini and others. Admission for the entire event is free.
