Coach Balachander trains QMC cricket team. His camp is also open to children

If you are looking to sign up your son or daughter for a camp to teaches them basic skills in cricket camp, you can check out the camp that NIS-certified and senior coach R. Balachander runs in the campus of Queen Mary’s College, Mylapore.

Balachander, who is based in Triplicane and works for the Accountant -General’s Office, has been coaching the  students of QMC who form the cricket team for some 20 years. These sessions take place after 7 a.m. He says some of the QMC players have done well in recent times.

He uses the facility from 6 a.m. to train boys and girls from outside the campus.

He says that the guardians of his wards have generously funded the cricket needs of the college girls.

Some of his wards play for Mylapore schools.
