The annual Chitrai Brahmotsavam will take place at the Madhava Perumal Temple, Thyagarajapuram this year. This after the two year break due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.
The ten day utsavam will commence on Sunday April 24 with the flag hoisting between 8am and 9am.
Devotees will be able to have darshan of Madhava Perumal on the Garuda Vahana at 6am on Tuesday (Apr 26). The chariot procession will start between 7am and 8am on Saturday (Apr 30).
The kudhirai vahana and Vedu Pari enactment will take place on the evening of May 1.
The morning procession will start at 7.30pm while the evening vahana procession will start at 7.30pm.
There will be a pathi ulathal every evening at 6pm
