The state government had decided to seek a feasibility report on a project idea that affects the Mylapore – San Thome area.
It intends to look at building a long flyover, like an elevated transport corridor from the Light House end to Guindy.
A budget of Rs.45 lakh has been allotted for this study and the announcement was made recently in the state Assembly by the minister in charge, E. V. Velu who handles the Highways department.
