Ekaantha Sangeetha Seva is a unique music concert series, where artistes sit in a sacred space and perform early in the morning, with no audio accessories to amplify the music and only wick lamps lighting up this space.
An annual series curated by violinist V. V. S. Murari, it is held at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt at Salai Street, Mylapore , near R. R. Sabha.
The series is held in the December-January period but the recent edition had to be suspended midway due to the pandemic time lockdowns.
Now, the series has re-started from Feb.21 and will be on till March 1 at the same venue – and at the same time – 6 to 7.30 a.m.
Rasikas can come by and listen to the music. Prasadam is distributed after the concert.
