Following the removal of restrictions relating to temple processions, expect processions to be taken out this week on the occasion of Maasi Magam. It falls on February 16.
A few such processions from originate from Mylapore temples that morning.
We learn that Lord Srinivasa Perumal of Sri Desikar Temple will go on a procession to the Marina beach for ‘Samudra Snanam’ on Wednesday morning on the occasion of Maasi Magam.
The pallakku procession is likely to start from the temple at 5.30am.
