The vaccine bandwagon in the city is rolling into city college campuses now.
On Wednesday morning, December 15, it rolled into Queen Mary’s College, Mylapore and the drive to vaccinate event was launched in a gala manner with almost all the students of this college crowding into a hall and sitting through the formal speeches.
Present were health minister Ma. Subramaniam, the city’s civic body head Gagandeep Sign Bedi, health secretary J. Radhakrishnan and Mylapore MLA, Dha Velu.
Once the media ops were done with, queues opened at the jab counters and in the first round, over 100 college girls were seen in the queues, some wanting to take the first jab and some ready to get the second.
