Much before the season of margazhi dawned on December 16, the colour of it was popping up – as women drew kolams at their door steps in some narrow streets off Kutchery Road.
And this morning, the familiar groups that sing bhajans were back on the Mada Streets around Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, even as the mist lingered around.
A similar group was seen singing on Kamaraj Salai near the KVB Gardens colony in R A Puram; it had a few young boys in it.
These groups will do their rounds every morning now and people are welcome to join them. They normally start by 6 a.m.
