Following Kapaleeswarar temple’s Pancha Moorthy procession on Saturday evening, Sri Valleeswarar temple’s Natarja and Sivakami came out on Sunday morning on a Mada Streets procession on the occasion of Aruthra Utsavam (Margazhi Thiruvathirai).
Co-incidentally, at the Theradi on East Mada Street, Nataraja and Sivakami of both Kapaleeswarar Temple
and Valleeswarar Temple met just after 9am on Sunday morning.
This weekend has seen a return of street processions in Mylapore much to the delight of the devotees.
