65 auto drivers were examined for various eye problems on Sunday ( October 24) in the free camp jointly organiSed by Ramana Eye Centre, R. A. Puram, Rotary Club IT City and Raja Annamalaipuram Residents Association (RAPRA).
Free blood pressure checks and free blood sugar estimations were done for all the registrants, said a note sent by RAPRA.
Many auto drivers were registered for free spectacles which will be distributed in a week.
Dr. C. Senthilnathan, director of Ramana Eye Clinic said that some auto drivers face age related eye problems, that these problems develop slowly and the drivers may not realise the problem until they consult an eye specialist .
