Sunaadalahari, the musical wing of Indira Ranganathan Trust based in. Alwarpet plans to conduct a nine-day “Navaratri Suprabata Sangeetha Seva” at its open air venue on C P Ramaswamy Road.
Concerts will be on from the 7th to 15th of October, starting daily at 5.30 am.
Bharati Kamakoti, part of the hosting team says, “This time, we’ve planned for a Suprabata (early morning) seva where some of the musical compositions meant to be sung during Navaratri will be presented by the artistes. There will be a pooja between 3.30 am to 5 am followed by lighting of lamps. “
The amphitheatre at this venue has a gallery-like structure and the organiser plans to light up around 60-70 lamps spread across the flight of steps and the concert will happen simultaneously.
Interested rasikas may participate in the seva through the virtual mode, where selected portions of the musical program will be streamed live on Sunaadalahari’s Facebook page.
