In the first week of August, HR & CE minister P. Sekar Babu inspected Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple and discussed many issues – one related to the installation of LED video screen at the Navarathri mandapam.
Late on Tuesday (August 31) evening, the LED screen was installed at the Navarathri mandapam and welding work took place while the Artha Jaama Pooja was being performed in the Sannidhis.
The plan is to display the Nandi abhisekam on Pradosham evenings on the LED screen for the devotees who may sit in the huge open space along the Navarathri mandapam and watch the abhisekam.
The LED screen will also display highlights of the history of the temple, information on upcoming events and video recordings of past events.
