Here is a chain of restaurants, which has now come to R. A. Puram and which holds up its appam as one of the best dishes on its menu.
The T. Nagar-based chain of Shri Ganesh Bhavan opened its tenth food joint on 3rd Cross Street in the Chennai Corporation complex here. It has space for dining but that is limited – this being just the place to have a quick breakfast or a snack.
It opens for breakfast at 7 a.m. and offers all the South Indian specials. Then there is lunch – meals can also be taken as a parcel ( Rs.90); the meal costs Rs.80 of partaken at the restaurant.
Late evening, you can check out some North Indian food – chapatis and rotis included. Yes, appam is also served.
The place closes at 10 p.m.
Home delivery is provided locally – call 47409568 / 7200431441.
