Monday’s prodosham at Sri Kapali Temple in Mylapore presented a stunning natural setting.
Even as the setting sun blazed away, filling Sannidhi Street with its light, a sunny yellow all over, grey and dark clouds began moving across the skies and a hint of rain was in the air.
As has been happening on all prodosham evenings, some people gather outside the two gates of the temple to have a darshan. The gates are always kept open.
Even as prodosham ended, the rain fell, lighly at first and then steadily.
