In a positive development in the dilution of some regulations of the lockdown, city parks will now be open for limited hours from Monday.
And so, Nageswara Rao Park in Luz will throw its gates open to morning walkers from Monday morning.
The park, maintained by Sundaram Finance for almost the last two decades, will reopen at 6am on Monday and close at 9 a.m. – just three hours a day.
The park was locked for over 45 days when lockdown restrictions were enforced in the last week of April.
But civic workers have been cleaning the place and watering the plants and trees here.
