The ten-day annual utsavam for one of the four famous Saivite saint poets Thiru Gnana Sambandhar began
this morning at the Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple with an Abhishekam.
E Venkatasubramanian Shivachariar, head priest of the temple said that Thiru Gnana Sambandhar will be taken on a procession inside the temple complex this evening which will be followed by an oonjal in front of the Karpagambal sannidhi.
The ten-day Utsavam will end on Vaikasi Moolam (May 28) with the Mukthi event of Thiru Gnana Sambandhar.
