Street markets in Mylapore and Mandaveli open at dawn and stay alive till about noon. This puzzles all those who assumed that the new regulations state that such markets must now remain closed.
Though there is no streaming crowd of shoppers in these spaces people practice daily shopping since these hawkers are open every morning.
