This photo, shot at about 9;15 a.m. on Friday shows the scene on South Mada Street.
Due to regulations, hawkers are up early and business starts early and this draws a steady stream of people. People on bikes whizzing from hawker to hawker, from street to street.
There is police patrol parked here.
Almost all people are seen wearing masks but a number of them do not wear it the way it should be and quality of masks is cheap, so these masks are not in keeping with current regulations.
