Mylapore Times launches project to aid suffering families in one neighbourhood. Donations welcome.

Five families who reside in Mylapore went out of their way to offer rice/ dhall/ oil/ sugar and snacks to be given to three families who are in dire straits in the San Thome – Pattinapakkam area ( details shared by Covid workers).
They responded after an appeal was made by Mylapore Times on the social media page.
Covid care contract workers are saying that on their rounds, they come across families who are suffering severely in these times. Most have either lost a family member or lost their daily odd-jobs.
From this week, Mylapore Times is arranging basic help to the suffering families in areas on the seaside of San Thome High Road.
TheĀ  beneficiaries will be identified by a few trusted Covid workers.
Mylapore Times is now open to donations from across the world – the funds go to the MYLAPORE TIMES CHARITABLE TRUST which has been in operation for over 20 years. The funds will help buy essentials.
