The team at Sri Kapaleewarar Temple is organising 3000 packets of sambar rice every morning for
Covid patients across the city. This is being carried out from its kalyana mandapam in Mandaveli.
Thirunavukarasu, maniya kaarar of the temple told Mylapore Times that the rice packets are being sent out to Omandurar Hospital, the GH and a few other hospitals in the city every day.
He said that the temple’s anna dhanam cook Gopal is carrying out this service with the help of a
couple of others.
