The birth jayanthi of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, social activist and father of Indian Constitution was observed in the kuppams in San Thome this Wednesday morning, April 14.
Events were held in Srinivasapuram, Doomingkuppam and in Nochi Nagar, colonies located off the Marina Loop Road.
In Srinivasapuram, leaders of the the local unit named after Dr Ambedkar handed over clothes to some 30 men and women and books and stationery to a few students.
