Friday saw the launch in Mylapore of what is touted as ‘India’s first preventive paediatric dentistry’.
‘We Little’. This is the second clinic of the group, the first one being in Coimbatore.
This new dental facility is for kids from 0 to 19 years and is designed accordingly – you do not get a feel of a hospital. This paediatric dentistry place at Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai, near Marvel Cards shop, was inaugurated by actress Vijayalakshmi, who is the brand ambassador. Also present was actress, Nisha.
Dr. Shifa Shamsudeen who is the person behind this venture spoke at the launch on the issues related to oral health, sleep, and brain development. She also spoke about the ‘painless’ procedures they adopt in treatment – which mainly constitute exercises customised according to the individual’s problem.
Said the dentist, “Even the smallest of dental issues if ignored can lead to adverse problems. Earlier the treatment, easier the cure.”
