Contract aid workers are going house to house to document who has and who has not taken the vaccine as per suggestion given by the government. That is, all those 45 year and above were advised to take the jab.
Many have begun taking the second jab after tehy took the first in early March.
But a number of people have refrained for various reasons and some include unfounded stories of illness and also of access.
On Tamil New Year’s day, aid staff were seen meeting families in Mandavelipakkam.
