A new Covid vaccination centre will be set up at the Library office of the Kapaleeswarar Temple (eastern entrance) from Sunday ( March 21).
The acting joint commissioner of the temple C. Lakshmanan ( seen in photo) told Mylapore Times that devotees visiting the temple can bring a proper ID card and get vaccinated anytime between 9.30 am and 4 pm through till the end of the utsavam here.
He said that the health and sanitary officers visited the temple this morning and checked out the library space. They have approved the setting up of the vaccination centre.
Lakshmanan also said that a health camp will be set up at the temple with basic facilities through the period of the Utsavam.
