The renovated chapel of the Blessed Sacrament was opened at a brief religious event held on Christmas eve at the St Thomas Cathedral, San Thome.
Archbishop Rev. George Antonysamy did the honours and invited people to spend some time in reflection at this chapel.
The chapel is located alongside the north wing of the Cathedral and offers space for people to pray and reflect in silence in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
For now, the chapel is open from 9 am to 7 pm. People visiting here are advised to wear masks and keep social distance.
