Mantra store at Alwarpet has been offering gold plating services since 1992. The store now offers to gold coat heritage idols at a discounted rate.
Heritage idols upto to the height of 3 inches can be plated with 24 carat gold at the cost of Rs. 108 here.
Says a staff of Mantra, “Earlier, we used to gold coat such heritage idols at Rs 998. But now, we are offering this service at a discounted price to attract customers.”
One can also get their brass lamps gold plated here. The store also sells a range of lamps and idols made of brass, copper and bronze.
A range of home decoration items are also available for sale at the store.
