With Deepavali just around the corner, shops and restaurants in Mylapore have begun offering special sweets and snacks for the occasion.
The popular Mami Tiffen Stall in Mylapore is offering sweets including horlicks mysore pak, mango burfi and cashew halwa for Deepavali, this year. One can also pick up athirasam, maa laddu and thenkuzhal from here.
A kilo of maa laddu is priced at Rs 360. The store also provides free door delivery for orders above Rs. 1000.

The Deepavali special sweets at the well known Subham Ganesan store includes karupatti wheat halwa, thirattipal, and ghee/carrot mysore pak. Savouries like kai murukku, thattai and seedai are also sold here. A kilo of ghee mysore pak is priced at Rs 550.

Jangiri, soan papdi and manoharam are some of the special sweets that Thaligai restaurant on Luz Church Road is offering, this Deepavali. A range of savouries like mixture, and omapodi are also available for sale at the restaurant.
