Mudhal Thayar Panchami Thirtha Utsavam will be held for Goddess Thayar for nine days from Nov. 11 to 19 at Sri Vedanta Desikar Temple, Mylapore.
A thirumanjanam will be held for the deity in the morning everyday at 10 a.m. and an ul purappadu on different vahanams will be held in the evening at around 6.30 p.m. The schedule is as follows:
Nov. 11 – Padmam
Nov. 12 – Surya Prabhai
Nov. 13 – Thayar Garuda Vahanam
Nov. 14 – Chandra Prabhai. To mark Diwali, a special purappadu will be also held for Perumal in the evening.Nov. 15 – Kili Vahanam. An Annakooda Utsavam will also be held on that day.
Nov. 16 – Yanai Vahanam.
Nov. 17 – Gajalakshmi
Nov. 18 – Kuthirai Vahanam
Nov. 19 – Panchami Thirtam Thirthavari in the morning and Thanga Ketayam in the evening.
