The number of streets reporting virus cases in Mylapore reached a new high on October 1, with 40 streets reporting virus cases on this day.
This is the highest number that the neighbourhood has ever seen in the past few months.
According to data posted on Chennai Corporation’s website streets including May Flower Garden, Bawa Road and Judge Jumbulingam Road reported cases on this day.
