Mylapore zone based Senthil Lending Library and Rajeswari Lending Library opened their doors to the public during the first week of May. Though initially the number of people who dropped in were less, the number has increased now, says the owner P. Satish Kumar.
He says, “I have now regained 80% of my business. We have also started delivery services in the Mylapore area. Seniors, who are unable to come out often, find this service very useful”.
Social distancing is strictly followed inside the library. Not more than 3 people are allowed inside and they must wear masks. Customers can also place their requests online on the library’s website www.easwarilibrary.in.
Delivery charge is Rs. 40. Senthil Lending Library is located at 6/4, 3rd Cross Street, R. A. Puram and Rajeswari Lending Library is located at 95, Kutchery Road, Mylapore (opposite the police station). They are open from 10.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Mon-Sat.
