Sri Anjaneya Temple in Alwarpet has re-opened following the state’s guidelines that were announced in early September.
It now allows devotees inside only after mandatory temperature checks and use of hand sanitisers.
The temple has also placed barricades to regulate the movement of people.
Said a staff at this temple, “As per the government instructions, archanai is not carried out. However, people who wish to offer tulsi garland to lord may drop them at a vessel kept at the entrance.”
To inform people about the government’s standard operating procedures, the temple has also pasted notices listing the regulations at its premises.
