Pumpkin Tales, the popular restaurant in Alwarpet has recently opened its Chinese restaurant ‘Zhouyu’ at its premises.
Some of the special dishes on Zhouyu’s menu include Hakka noodles, steamed fish, stewed duck, and clay pot meal.
Says R. Rajarajeshwari, Owner of Pumpkin Tales, “Zhouyu is our attempt to bring the original flavours from the Chinese provinces of Hunan, Sichuan and Canton to Chennai. We use only traditional cooking methods to prepare food here.”
Similar to Pumpkin Tales, at their Chinese kitchen too all dishes are made using fresh, local produce devoid of any preservatives.
A chicken Hakka noodles is priced at Rs. 400.
