On August 29, Alwarpet based Thamizhadu Brahmin Association (Regd.), Chennai district, and non profit group Team Ignite distributed grocery kits to needy people in the brahmin community.
The chief guest for the event, which was held at Kalyana Nagar Association, Mandavelipakkam, was Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj.
The kit consisted of rice, dhal and other provisions. Also present at the event were VRG Raji, district president of the association, Balasubramaniyam and Uma Balasubramaniyam from Team Ignite and G. Rajesh Narayan, president, Mylapore unit and S. Ramachandran, president, Choolaimedu unit.
