Two halls at Kalyana Nagar Association, Mandavelipakkam, each about 1500 sq.ft, can now be booked for social functions and events.
The secretary of the association, T. R. Prakash says, “We have been granted permission to conduct events for upto 50 people. We have two halls, one in the ground floor and another in the first floor. We are offering the premises at a concessional rent of Rs. 15000 per event per hall”.
Those who would like to book the hall should give a letter to the zonal officer (Zone 9) at the Corporation office at Valluvar Kottam and get an acknowledgement. That has to be handed to the staff at the association.
The staff members of the association will then hand over that letter to the officials at the Corporation office at R. A. Puram and to the police station at Foreshore Estate. All those who attend the events will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
