Sevalaya, an NGO based in Mylapore is now selling a variety of Krishna idols for the upcoming Krishna Jayanthi festival.
The dolls, available in different sizes are priced in the range of Rs 80 to Rs. 1650.
The NGO is also selling a pack of special organic snacks (seedai, thenkuzal, omapodi) for the festival.
Proceeds from the sale of these items will go towards supporting underprivileged children and adults housed at the NGO’s shelter at a village near Thiruninravur in Tamil Nadu.
