Praise God
I remember this festival from the days of yore, in my hometown – Kolar Gold Fields {KGF} There was a lot of clay soil and boys used to shape the Ganesha images really cleverly and put two “gundu manis” for the eyes. At the end of the festival, the idols would be thrown into wells – there were many wells in those days. No garish paint – really environment friendly as well as creative. HAPPY VINAYAKA CHATURTHI TO ALL.
