Here are four local restaurants that offer hot and fresh snacks for Vinayakar Chaturthi festival.
At Thaligai restaurant in Luz Church Road, Mylapore traditionally made kozhukattai (sweet and spicy) will be available from 7 am, this Saturday. Medhu vada and sundal (white) will also be available for sale here.
The restaurant is also providing a combo pack, which will include 8 pieces each of sweet and spicy (kara) kozhukattai, 4 medhu vadas and sundal (200 g). Price – Rs 600 excluding taxes.

Saravana Bhavan restaurant at North Mada Street, Mylapore too will offer special snacks box for the festival. It will include sakkarai pongal, sweet kozhukattai, sweet lemon, berikkai and ladoos . Price – Rs 225. Ph: 24611177.
