With just a few weeks for Onam, Ente Keralam restaurant in Alwarpet has opened pre-bookings for Onam special sadhya.
The restaurant, known for its Kerala cuisine will start offering sadhya (lunch) from August 21 onwards.
On August 31 (Onam day), a special sadhya, with a range of Kerala-style dishes will be provided. It will also be offered from August 29 to September 2.
People who may want to dine in here to have sadhya on these days may reserve a table now.
Says a staff from the restaurant, “As we are offering only 50% dining, we have opened bookings for Onam sadhya early, so we can plan better and limit food preparation accordingly. This will also help us to seat people following social distancing.”
Sadhya will include nei paruppu, aviyal, thoran, kalan, rice (Kerala rice/white rice), 4 types of pickles, sambhar, rasam, kachiya mor, and 4 varieties of payasam.
Price – Rs 399. Special sadhya is priced at Rs.699.
One can also pre-book for takeaways now. Door delivery will be provided via Swiggy or Zomato.
